Garden of No Condemnation

Now since I’ve had a garden this year, I just think everyone should have one just like mine, because it is so easy and fun.  I could even think, I’m so much better than everyone, who doesn’t have a garden and a compost pile!  It is very easy to get into condemning others or yourself over silly issues.  Staying free from condemnation—a killer of joy and life itself—is the important thing and the challenge.  How can we keep the Garden of our Lives free from condemnation?

Romans 8:1 NKJV tells us,  “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

The only way to stay out of condemning is to be in Christ Jesus and to walk in the Spirit.  We are in Christ Jesus, by asking Him into our lives as our Lord and Savior.  We walk in the Spirit, by our choice—by choosing His road, the Spirit of God’s way—in our thinking and our actions.  It is a challenge, but being free from condemnation is a wonderful choice.

Jesus said, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”  Jn 2:17 NKJV

God does not condemn us, but makes the way through Jesus for us to be free from condemnation.   We choose whether or not to say yes to Jesus.  The Spirit makes the way for us to be free in our will and emotions toward others and ourselves.

To have a Garden of No Condemnation, we must choose Jesus and daily to pull up any weeds of condemnation! Wow what a nice garden!
