The Bible is the true account of the greatest rescue mission ever. God Himself came to rescue us!

In the beginning God created the heavens, the earth, and the whole solar system. On the earth He created many amazing and wonderful things including vegetation, fish, birds and animals. All these things brought great pleasure to Him, but He longed for something more. God wanted friends, someone more like Him to love, have fellowship and share with.
Masterpiece Friendship
So God created people in His image and likeness and placed them in an amazing place, The Garden of Eden. It was Heaven on earth. God made every provision for His new friends, Adam and Eve. Because everything was pure and holy in the Garden, every day God, Who is pure and holy, came down from Heaven and walked and talked with them. He even presented His friends the earth to rule over and to take care of.
God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature so they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, and, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth." God created human beings; he created them godlike, reflecting God's nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth."

God's plan was for it to be like Heaven on earth to all people, as they took dominion over the earth and cared for each other and everything on the earth. But someone else had another plan...
