New Testament Books

In the New Testament God's love letter to people comes with the most wonderful gift of all—His Son Jesus! The Bible is written so each person can live a great life, get to know God, and live with Him forever!

The New Testament, the last half of the Bible, is made up of 27 books. These books tell about when the, Jesus, God's son, took on an earth suit and became a man, and became the Rescuer for all people when He died on the cross to save us from the effects of our sin.

Hint: To find a certain book in your Bible, most Bibles begin with a list of the books of the Bible and the page number they are in that Bible, to help when you are looking up scripture verses. When the scripture reference is "John 3:16," the verse can be found in the book of the Bible of John, 3rd chapter and the 16th verse.
